bookreport 4

I read the last Percy Jackson book for my book report, in the cource of the book Percy has changed a lot, in  the first one Percy was afraid to even face a small monster, in the last one he's brave enough to fight Kronos the Titan Lord. I think Percy is brave to be able to do all the stuff he does, like fighting monsters, and flying on a pegasus. He's not so sure of himself, he does all this stuff but is never sure if he can do it or not, if he's going to live or not, and weather or not he's going to pass the time when he turns sixteen. He likes to have help whenever possible, sometimes he also wants it when he has to do it alone. Percy like to hang out with his friends Annabeth who is also a demigod and Grover who is a saytr, and throughout his days at Camp Halfblood he makes new friends. I think he might also be lonely because he is the only demigod son of Posideon the god of the sea, and the only child of the Big Three who is staying at the camp.
In the book Percy is having troubles becaus soon he's going to turn sixteen, and theres this prophesy that says when a child of one of the Big Three will choose weather or not the gods of Mount Olympus will live. During the time he still has left before he turns sixteen he goes on a mission with one of his favorite campers who's name is Bekondorf (thats his last name), and they get caught trying to blow up the enemy's ship. Later on Percy goes to the Underworld to visit his cousin Nico they both go to the River Styx to do something so that Percy can actually have a chance in a fight with Kronos, who has taken the body of one of Percy's previous friends Luke. After that Percy is learning stuff about Annabeth before she came to Camp Halfbood, like how she got to camp, how she got her combat knife, why she likes Luke so much, and why she' does not like cyclopes. Grover who was there when Pan the god of nature died, was also learning stuff, like this noise that will scare any enemy on the battlefield, and how to use his reed pipes to grow different kinds of magical plants.

Book report 3

I read Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Sea of Monsters, By Rick Riordan. Like in the first book Percy goes to a camp for half-bloods called  Camp Half-Blood where demigods  can train to fight  and learn to be safe. Percy has green eyes which are an attribute of his father Poseidon who is the god of the sea. In this book Percy is more confident in himself and his new friends that he met the year prior to this story. Also in this friendship as they are fighting monsters they know each others moves so they can fight using each other. in the beggining Percy finds out that he has a half brother that has a little seceret, he's a cyclops. Now Percy has to take care of himself and his brother. When Percy gets a quest to go find his buddy Grover he takes his friend Annabeth and his newfound brother Tyson to save him. When they get close to the island that Grover's being held on they find another island where theres a lady who turns men into guinea pigs, and Percy gets turned into one. When I read that part I kinda laughed, it was funny.

I think the point of view was first person because whenever Percy talked it said nothing it only put it in quotations. I think that the point of view was chosen because Percy was the main character, it's called Percy Jackson, and the books are about him. If sombody other than Percy like Annabeth or Grover told the story you would have known what they were thinking at  the time and not Percy.  Like when Annabeth gets mad at Percy and he doesn't know why, you would know. And when Grover is freaking out and Percy doesn't know why, you would. Whenever Percy does somthing that he thinks was just fine sombody else like Ares, one of Percy's enemies, would think what he did was terrible. When you read a book that has more than one book in a series you get attached to the characters, so you kind of take sides with them, so if he or she doesn't like another person in the book niether do you. Also if sombody hurts them you're all like "why did he do that"?  When there is a main character you like them and you know what they're thinking and you can tell what they're feeling and  you feel that to.

Percy Jackson Book Report

I read Percy Jackson and the Olympians the Lightning Thief. Percy is a Halfblood, that means that he is half god half human, he is the only son of Poseidon, so he has some of the strongest godlike powers of all. Percy has dark hair and green eyes just like Poseidon. He has been kicked out of many different private schools over the years because he has a short temper, he also has dyslexia, and ADHD, the dyslexia is from knowing how to read Greek, and the ADHD helps him stay alert in a fight so that he doesn’t get hurt. Percy gets angry very easily, because when something that not all that bad happens he goes and gets angry for no reason, although one time it was because he was in the presence of Ares the god of war, other than that no reason. Percy kind of doubts himself sometimes throughout the book, because when the campers are playing capture the flag his team members send him to protect the boundary line, and he thinks he can’t do it. He’s also a good swordfighter because when he was fighting Ares he actually wounded him.
At first I didn’t think I would like this book I don’t know why though, but I liked it. I thought it was a good book but there’s a whole series and now I’m going to have the whole thing to find out how it ends! I would recommend this book to people who like adventure, fantasy, and suspense. The names of some of the characters reminded me of another book I’ve read in “Gregor the Overlander.” I liked the book so much I read it faster than a book that was less than two hundred pages and this one was a little less than four hundred and that’s a record time for a book that long. I liked this book way more than other books that I’ve read and I have read some weird books that I didn’t really like.

Book report Flipped

Bryce Loski is the main character of the book I read Flipped. In this book Bryce is an eighth grader with blue eyes and black hair. He also has a little trouble with a girl who lives across the street Julianna, who has had a crush on him since they were seven. Even though they're neighbors Bryce doesn't even know anything about Julianna except that she's smart and that he doesn't like her the way she likes him.
Bryce is a sporty guy that likes to play soccer and hang out with his friend Garrett. He also is what I say a little afraid of Julianna Baker the girl who lives across the street. He's he kind of guy that you would want to be your friend because he would try to tell things the way they are. Juli on the other hand thinks that he is the best guy in the world until in eighth grade when some one cuts down the sycamore tree and he doesn't try to help Juli save the tree, then she starts thinking of him as a coward and a sneak.
Julianna Baker is another main character that has been living in the neighborhood as long as she can remember. Then on one glorious day the Loskis move in and somebody as old as Juli finally comes to the neighborhood. As soon as she runs over to the moving van she sees Bryce the boy with the bluest eyes that she has ever seen she quickly develops a crush on him. but he thinks she's crazy because she jumps right into the van with muddy sneakers and almost starts climbing on the luggage. For the sixth grade science fair Juli incubated eggs and the surprising thing is that the eggs hatched during the fair. Although she likes collecting eggs from her chickens her goal is to get a kiss from Bryce.
Julianna is a smart girl who knows how to have fun, she loves to climb the disfigured sycamore tree that could topple over at any moment. She is the one that helped Bryce get through his spelling tests which was the best part of the year for her because she got to sit behind him. Juli likes to play soccer and kick the ball at her house to get the ball to bounce back at her. She doesn't like going near her bus stop anymore because of what happened to her tree so she rides her bike to school now through rain and snow. I think that Juli is really tough to be able to tell herself to ride her bike through the rain. Who can tell Bryce what Juli has really been doing these past couple of years he thought that she was crazy, she thought she was protecting him. Those re the two main characters of the book Flipped.

I think that the theme of the book is that first impressions really are the most important, Juli did not make a very good first impression when she jumped into the moving van without even asking. Neither did Bryce when he decided to run away and hide behind his mom when Juli came over. I have had problems with sone one and their first impression, it was my first time riding the bus with my little brother and some kid asked to look at my brother's umbrella and broke it, I don't know why he just did. My mom said that my brother wasn't allowed to take stuff out of his backpack on the bus any more, but did he listen not for very long no.
Another theme that I think can work for the book is that you can't ignore somebody forever they will always find a way to communicate with you. At the beginning of the book Bryce would try to avoid Juli but in the end Juli tries to save him from his girlfriend. Near the end of the book it was vice versa and Juli was the one trying to ignore Bryce, that worked longer than when Bryce tried it but still failed, so I come to a conclusion that it is almost impossible to ignore some one.

Memoir 2

When I was about eight my Grandma was diagnosed with cancer everyone in my family was destroyed and didn't know what to do. About a month later she died and I didn't want to leave but my parents were to strong for me so I couldn't stay.

Memior

I was five years old and my Grandma and Grandpa were visiting. When they got to my house they brought presents and I was so happy. They brought me a race car track with ramps and it was awesome I said that they were the best, that was one of the last presents I got from them.
